Benjamin W. Wah is currently the Provost and Wei Lun Professor of Computer Science and Engineering of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He also serves as the Chair of the Research Grants Council of Hong Kong. Before then, he served as the Director of the Advanced Digital Sciences Center in Singapore, as well as the Franklin W. Woeltge Endowed Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Professor of the Coordinated Science Laboratory of the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, IL. He received his Ph.D. degree in computer science from the University of California, Berkeley, CA, in 1979. He has received a number of awards for his research contributions, which include the IEEE CS Technical Achievement Award (1998), the IEEE Millennium Medal (2000), the IEEE-CS W. Wallace McDowell Award (2006), the Pan Wen-Yuan Outstanding Research Award (2006), the IEEE-CS Richard E. Merwin Award (2007), the IEEE-CS Tsutomu Kanai Award (2009), and the Distinguished Alumni Award in Computer Science of the University of California, Berkeley (2011). Wah's current research interests are in the areas of big data applications and multimedia signal processing. Wah cofounded the IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering in 1988 and served as its Editor-in-Chief between 1993 and 1996, and is the Honorary Editor-in-Chief of Knowledge and Information Systems. He currently serves on the editorial boards of Information Sciences, International Journal on Artificial Intelligence Tools, Journal of VLSI Signal Processing, and World Wide Web. He has served the IEEE Computer Society in various capacities, including Vice President for Publications (1998 and 1999) and President (2001). He is a Fellow of the AAAS, ACM, and IEEE.

Gao Ying, a professor at South China University of Technology. She was selected for the list of the top 2% of global scientists released by Stanford University in 2024 and 2025, won the Second Prize of the Science and Technology Award of the China Safety and Health Association in 2025, the First Prize of the Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award in 2020, the Third Prize of the Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award in 2016, the Special Prize of the Technological Progress Award of the China Blasting Association in 2012, the First Prize of the Technological Progress Award of the China Engineering Blasting Association in 2020, the Excellent Case of National Outstanding Engineer Training Reform, the First Prize of Guangdong Provincial Excellent Teaching Achievements (for Graduate Students) in 2020, the Second Prize of the Ninth Guangdong Higher Education Teaching Achievement Award, and the Second Prize of the Tenth Guangdong Higher Education Teaching Achievement Award. She has led and participated in more than 20 scientific research projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Industrial Internet Innovation Development Project, the Ministry of Public Security Science and Technology Plan, the Open Project of the Ministry of Public Security Key Laboratory, the Guangdong Provincial Key Research and Development Project, the Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation, the Guangdong Provincial Key Laboratory, the Provincial-Ministry Collaborative Research and Development Project of Guangdong Province, the Major Industrial Technology Research and Development Project, the Guangzhou Municipal Key Research and Development Project, the Major Industrial Technology Major Research Project, and the Guangzhou Municipal People's Livelihood Science and Technology Research Project. She has published over 100 academic papers indexed by SCI or EI, including in well-known academic conferences such as AAAI, ICCV, BIBM, ICME, ICASSP, and international authoritative journals such as IEEE TPMI, IEEE TIFS, IEEE TMC, IEEE TDSC, IEEE TAC. She has also obtained 43 national invention patents and published 2 monographs.

Dr. Anand Nayyar received Ph.D (Computer Science) from Desh Bhagat University in 2017 in the area of Wireless Sensor Networks, Swarm Intelligence and Network Simulation. He is currently working in School of Computer Science-Duy Tan University, Da Nang, Vietnam as Professor, Scientist, Vice-Chairman (Research) and Director- IoT and Intelligent Systems Lab. A Certified Professional with 280+ Professional certifications from CISCO, Microsoft, CompTIA, Amazon, Alibaba Cloud, Oracle, Google, Salesforce, Tableau, FinOps, Beingcert, EXIN, GAQM, Cyberoam and many more.
